| GENERAL
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF EEC OIL WATER SEPARATORS |
The EEC
OIL-SEP oil and water separator is a single-stage
device designed to separate and remove insoluble
oil, solids, and entrained air from oily water.
The system processes oily water at its rated
capacity, and is designed for continuous and
intermittent operation without the need for
chemicals or other additives. After the system has
been started, it is capable of automatic
operation.
EEC OIL-SEP (0.5 - 10m3/h) The system design
incorporates a mechanical rotating coalescing
fiber and stationary polishing pack to provide the
most efficient and effective means for separating
oil from water and eliminating the need to change
or replace filters or filtering media.
EEC OIL-SEP (10 -
200 m3/h) The fabricated vessel contains a series
of matrix plate pack assemblies which are fitted
in a vertical position to enhance solid removal.
Each plate assembly is fabricated from corrugated,
rigid, PVC sheets. Unlike conventional modular
sheet media, no flat sheets are used in the
fabrication of the plate packs. The result is
greatly increased contact time between the oily
water and the corrugated sheets, accelerating the
coalescing process |
